it comes with the job. I always tell my clients not to get upset when the baby poops or tinkles on my blankets or props. It happens. At every session. And I usually get pooped on, or tinkled on. At every session. It’s just part of the job! Baby Ella wasn’t any different than any other newborn, except that she pooped on me, twice! A little spray-n-wash, and my clothes are as good as new again.

Besides, who would really mind with a face as SWEET as this?

I love coming up with unique ideas for every session. No two sessions ever look the same! I’ve never seen this done before:

It just so happened we were at the beach the same weekend. I wanted to do some outdoor newborn shots and what better place than the beach?

Inspired by the AMAZING Carrie Sandoval. I envisioned this totally differently but I had to work with harsh morning sun and a slanted shore line so this is what I got.

I was blown away by this precious little one. I mean, who can resist a smile so sweet? Seriously?

Beautiful family!

I think he wins the Sweetest Baby on the Planet award!

My assistant and I were amazed at how he slept and smiled, just so content.

And these wrinkles? How I LOVE baby wrinkles!

and she’s gorgeous!

Mom is doing a shabby chic nursery so I did some soft, prissy processing on these that I think will go beautifully in her room.

In between cat naps, she did this entire animation show – lots of sweet and funny faces. I was tempted to her home with me!

My summer has been busy – not much time for pictures because we (my family and I) have been on the go so much. I’ll be sharing some of that later…

Of course, Hannah was no exception.

Hannah’s mom makes hand knitted hats and baby props which is one reason why we tried out so many different hats and extras. Let me know if you’d like her info and I’ll pass it along to you. She’s very talented, as you can see.

We just couldn’t resist with such an adorably sweet model. She did amazingly well at 5 days old!

He’s so handsome, lots of dark hair – just beautiful! His big brother kept me entertained as he attempted to empty his bedroom showing me all of his “things” – toys, books, pj’s…… underwear!

Wow, it’s been awhile since I’ve updated around here. Christmas came and went, the New Year has begun and I’m just getting a free minute to post some new photos. I’ve got a lot to share, just not a lot of time to do so!

Catching Up

I’m attempting to catch up on blogging… it’s a tedious job staying on top of things sometimes.

Here are a few recent photos of my nephew, John Parker, who is 9 months old and walking!

This sweet baby boy was just a few days old when I when I photographed him recently. I’ve known his parents for a long time and I’m so very proud for them. Baby Kade is just so squishy and precious.

Don’t you love his sweet little swirl?

One of the best parts of my job is watching little ones grow up. William is no exception. I looked up some of his old sessions and it’s amazing to see how much he has grown in just one year. In this case, I got see Archie, his puppy grow up, too!
