Since he was delivered by c-section, I wasn’t about to be in the delivery room but I did capture many of his “firsts”.

As a photographer, I strive to tell a story with pictures. Lifestyle/photojournalistic portraiture is my favorite style of photography so naturally, I have found myself drawn to birth photography. In the delivery room, I am able to be as discreet as possible, no flash is used to blind the doctor, nurses, baby. I blend into the back ground, quietly snapping pictures of the many moments you may not remember once you bring your bundle home from the hospital.  I am well equipped to handle all lighting situations, which are not always the best in hospitals. My cameras (yes, camera(s) – I owna back up) are able to take extraordinary photographs in low light. I am also knowledgeable in how to use lenses to achieve the best result.
