Natasha Chalker Photography bio picture

I am a

 - Wife to one amazing man that God chose for me

- Mom of two beautiful blessings I call my kids

- Teacher to roughly 18 incredibly silly and wildly entertaining kindergarten students each year

- Daughter to my parents who made me who I am today

- Sister to a crazy redhead

- Friend to those I share my life with

- Slight perfectionist but only in a super detail oriented, insanely observant kinda way because really, at any give moment my house can be a total mess

- Lover of staying busy, whether it's traveling or working on various projects

- Individual who enjoys music, most all kinds, depends on the moment, month, mood

- Magazine flipper, I enjoy looking at the photographs of course. There's so much incredible inspiration in magazines

- Obsessive photographer to my family plus a few others that hire me

- Giver to those in need whether it be a kind word, gesture, prayer. Giving is so very rewarding!

And in all of this I am hopelessly flawed yet covered by the grace of God.

For that, I am blessed.

Newborn love

Sweet Conner was born before I left for Hawaii. We weren’t able to get his session in before my trip because he was sick. He was close to 4 weeks old when I took these which is older than I normally do newborn sessions but you would’ve never known. He was so  calm and sleepy just...

Summer, summer, summer time

Is finally here! I’m offering a few summer specials but my sessions will be limited this summer so that I will still have time to relax and enjoy my own kiddos, in addition to clearing some time for  a vacation at the end of July. I have a few things lined up for the summer...

20 fingers, 20 toes

These sweet little boys are five weeks old and absolutely precious. Mom and I tried to schedule their session closer to when they were born but it didn’t work out due to Mason being in the hospital, then I was sick, but we were finally able to arrange a time for their session and it was...

Miss Ellagrace

This sweetie came all the way from Georgia for her first portraits. We lucked up and captured not one but two smiles. Here’s one breath taking smile. Awww… just warms my heart. Remember, I love baby feet – but who doesn’t? One with her beautiful Mama. I am always  excited when a parent calls and books a  newborn session. The newborn...

a new family

Sweet Addison was down from Auburn and I felt very priviledged to take her first pictures. She is also my newest baby planner and Mom gets a free print with each session, complimentary storyboard collage at the end of one year, along with 50% off a coffee table book with images from her entire first year. I’m...

New designs and other “stuff”

Here are some new designs created for some clients. It’s fun to get the creative juices flowing…   These wall samples are great for those of us who are visual learners. It gives you an idea of how your portraits will look on your walls.    I’ve been dodging the rain for our Spring Sessions but we...

Abe

Sweet Abe was less than 2 weeks old when I went to his house to take his pictures. He’s such a handsome little guy, don’t you think? His mom called, needing photos ASAP because she wanted them done while he was still small.  It’s a good thing because, as we all know, babies grow and...

The kindest thing to say

I was completely blown away by the testimonial I received from the Sanders Family (<photos here) “We were thrilled with the portraits Natasha took of our family. As parents of a 3 year old, 2 year old, and newborn, we knew capturing happy moments would take tremendous patience. Natasha stayed at our house for over 3...

My new friends

I made some new little friends the other day. Selah and Judah welcomed me into their home (and little bedrooms) to play and take pictures. I’m not sure who had more fun – me or the little ones. Miss Annah Grace, precious and dainty… ….and her beautiful family   Selah, such a sweet soul  Judah could...

Wade+Jennifer=Chloe

I like being able to do something out of the ordinary at each session. It is my goal to make each photo shoot as unique as my clients. I  have lots of ideas bouncing around in my head, inspiration I get from other places and things. It’s fun to be able to put my spin on...
