Natasha Chalker Photography bio picture

I am a

 - Wife to one amazing man that God chose for me

- Mom of two beautiful blessings I call my kids

- Teacher to roughly 18 incredibly silly and wildly entertaining kindergarten students each year

- Daughter to my parents who made me who I am today

- Sister to a crazy redhead

- Friend to those I share my life with

- Slight perfectionist but only in a super detail oriented, insanely observant kinda way because really, at any give moment my house can be a total mess

- Lover of staying busy, whether it's traveling or working on various projects

- Individual who enjoys music, most all kinds, depends on the moment, month, mood

- Magazine flipper, I enjoy looking at the photographs of course. There's so much incredible inspiration in magazines

- Obsessive photographer to my family plus a few others that hire me

- Giver to those in need whether it be a kind word, gesture, prayer. Giving is so very rewarding!

And in all of this I am hopelessly flawed yet covered by the grace of God.

For that, I am blessed.

First of all – Dear Blog, I’m sorry for the lack of updates. Really, it’s not you, it’s me. I would like to blog more but I just don’t seem to have the time. I have shared most fall/winter sneak peeks on Facebook …  … I know, I know, the picture quality is so, so...

the sound of sunshine coming down

at least for a little while longer, right? I’m attempting to squeeze every bit of summer that is left with these last few days filled with warm breezes, lots of sunshine, and gorgeous blue skies. Oh, I love summer and I do not look forward to the bleak days of fall and winter that will...

summer has arrived…

…and it’s my absolute favorite season of the year. I love waking up and forgetting what day it is because most days the kids and I have nothing we “have” to do. We are certainly enjoying some well deserved down time. We were at the beach last week and all the cousins got together for...

snow day

In our little corner of the world, down here in southeast Alabama, we experienced our version of a “snow storm” last Friday. Four inches of snow blanketed our town and as you can see, the kids had a blast building snow men and snow women, constructing snow forts to combat the neighbor kids in a snowball fight, and just...

Goodbye Summer…

…I will miss you!   To say I had an enjoyable summer would be an understatement. Now that school’s back in session, I’m coming to terms that it is indeed over. Most people I know are looking forward to cooler weather that comes with the changing of seasons. I, on the other hand, LOVE summer....

biscuit and charlie brown

I know they look like twins but Chloe, aka Biscuit, and John Parker, aka Charlie Brown, are cousins.  We were all hanging out last night and I started looking for something to put them in so I could snap a few pictures of them. Charlie Brown can sit up but Biscuit isn’t quite there yet.  So Scott...

happy mother’s day to me

And to all other Moms throughout the world. I wanted to post this last night but I didn’t get a chance to. All I wanted for Mother’s day was to get a silhouette of my kids because, as you can tell, I’ve become obsessed with them lately.  So I took my kids out to a...
