Abe

Sweet Abe was less than 2 weeks old when I went to his house to take his pictures. He’s such a handsome little guy, don’t you think? His mom called, needing photos ASAP because she wanted them done while he was still small.  It’s a good thing because, as we all know, babies grow and...

O’Chalker Children

…On St. Patrick’s Day. With the green grass and azaleas in full bloom, I didn’t want to miss a chance to take advantage of all the green. Braden has been sick all week but he still appeased me for a few pictures.  I am pretty lucky (no pun intended!) that my kids almost always cooperate when...

Fine art gallery wrapped canvases

I have neglected sharing these canvases I got in a few months ago. I often forget to snap a few pictures of client’s canvas before I deliver them but I am going to try to do a better job at remembering to do so. Here are a few of my kids that I got in...

look who’s one!

Miss Rylie just turned one – how fun! She had just mastered walking and could not stand for her little feet to touch the itchy grass.  She’s the typical little southern girls – lots of cute outfits with bows to match!   The blocks did not stay where we put them for long.

As parents of a 3 year old, 2 year old, and newborn, we knew capturing happy moments would take tremendous patience. Natasha stayed at our house for over 3...

Check out her stuff here: http://home.rr.com/joannesolomon She does a beautiful job on those cute little embroidered and appliqued outfits, burp cloths, bibs, and blankets that you see just about everywhere.  Give her a call if you need something extra special and she can hook you up!

A pretty face

I took some head shots for Jaden a few weeks ago for an upcoming pageant. This was a nice change of pace compared to chasing toddlers and getting peed on by newborns.  Good luck with the pageant, Jaden!

Coming soon: Savannah

Brandi and Josh contacted me last month about photographing the birth of their baby girl this later month. They also decided to do maternity portraits as well and I’m so glad they did! Brandi looks amazing and this session was so much fun – even if it was bitterly cold outside.   Did I mention they...

Snow?

We woke to snow flurries this morning and an “Alabama-style blizzard” according to my husband.  The kids braved it for a few moments and I snapped these real quick.  As you can tell, we aren’t prepared for snow in south Alabama.  Katie had left her hat and gloves her in desk at school so she...
